Программа, предназначенная для ведения базы данных музыкальных файлов. Данная утилита позволяет собрать все музыкальные композиции в единый каталог. MediaMonkey работает с распространенными форматами музыкальных файлов: MP3, OGG, WMA, MPC, FLAC, APE. Она обладает широкими возможностями, среди которых можно выделить следующие: поддержка скинов, встроенный CD-ripper, CD-burner и конвертер аудио форматов. Также следует отметить такую возможность программы, как выравнивание громкости композиций. Эта функция очень полезна, например, при записи музыкальных дисков формата CDA, когда треки играют с разной громкостью. В последних версиях улучшена работа с плеером iPod, улучшена синхронизация баз данных, улучшена работа с музыкальными тегами в кодировке unicode, исправлено множество багов и ошибок.
